Still tickets available for closing night - buy at the door!

Please note that, although the Stanford Ticket Office website says the Winter One Acts are sold out, there are still tickets available to be sold at the door.  The 'SOLD OUT' merely refers to the closing of online tickets sales.

Sorry about the confusion!

Dear ChickFlickChick
written and directed by Olivia Haas

College roommates and best friends Sarah and Kelsey live in a world
colored by movie magic mentalities.  Kelsey convinces a hesitant Sarah
that her feelings for her best guy friend, Matt, and his actions towards her
are a sign that they're meant to be together.  After all, life is a
romantic comedy... right?

The Safety

written by Rodrigo Pena and directed by Patrick Kelly

An unsuspecting robber finds himself holding a surprise party hostage,
and the only one who knows the gun's safety is on is the
unconscious owner of the apartment.

Fix It

written by Samantha Toh and directed by Morielle Stroethoff
Something is not quite right in the household of Molly and Scott Tucker.
Molly longs for a life of stability and happiness that she once had with her husband.
Yet, the only solace she can find comes through reenacting memories
with another man, Buck, a student at a local college
looking for a little extra money on the side.

About OWOA

Every January, we premiere two to four student written one acts in a full scale production.  We are going to be looking for playwrights, directors, actors, designers, and technicians to make this wonderful tradition happen!  Playwrights, we will be asking for submissions of 15-40 minute long one acts in early October, so get writing!  Director and designers will be hired in October as well, and auditions will happen in mid-quarter.  If you have any questions, contact producer Heidi Thorsen (thorsen@stanford.edu).
