Elle Woods has it all, but when her boyfriend dumps her to find someone "more serious," she follows him to Harvard Law School to prove she's more than just a pretty face. Along the way, she discovers that being true to yourself is the best case you can make. Ram's Head's production dazzled audiences with standing ovations and a "perfectly perfumed finale." The pit orchestra "sounded vibrant and larger than its compact setup suggested," and the set design "creatively transformed spaces" throughout. In a special event, author Amanda Brown—whose novel about her Stanford Law School experience inspired the story of "Legally Blonde"—and musical librettist Heather Hach appeared for a Q&A on closing night, connecting the show directly to its Stanford roots.
